1. Definitions and interpretation

“BridalMe,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean BridalMe Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand.

“Site” means bridalme.io, including the Home page, the Journal, and the Book landing page.

“You” and “your” mean any person accessing or using the Site. “The Inner Veil” means the free waitlist described in clause 5. “Content” means all text, images, video, audio, and other material made available on the Site.

2. Acceptance and application

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Site and take effect from the moment you access any page of it.

By using the Site — including joining The Inner Veil, reading a Journal article, or clicking through to buy the book — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).

We may amend these Terms from time to time in accordance with clause 16. The version published on the Site at the time of your use is the version that applies.

3. About BridalMe

The Site is operated by BridalMe Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand (“BridalMe”). You can contact us at support@bridalme.io.

4. Site status — BridalMe is pre-launch

The BridalMe consultation service and app referred to on the Site are not yet available to the public. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, or a completed sale, of a consultation, a body scan, a gift consultation, or a made-to-measure gown.

Made-to-measure gowns (“Phase 2”) are a future stage of BridalMe’s roadmap and are not available for purchase at any price as at the date of these Terms.

Prices, features, launch markets, and anticipated timing referred to on the Site are statements of current intention only and do not bind BridalMe to any particular date, price, or feature set. We take reasonable care to ensure such statements are accurate and not misleading when published, consistent with our obligations under the Fair Trading Act 1986.

5. The Inner Veil waitlist

The Inner Veil is a free, no-obligation mailing list. Registering does not constitute a purchase, a reservation, a deposit, or an entitlement to any particular price when BridalMe launches.

To register, you provide your first name, last name, email address, mobile number, wedding date (or an indication that this isn’t set yet), and country.

We use this information to: (a) send you the free chapter and the Dress Clarity Worksheet described in clause 6; (b) keep you posted by email on how the BridalMe app build is progressing, the features it will launch with, and when it's expected to become available; and (c) where necessary, contact you directly by phone or text for administrative or account-related purposes — for example, to verify a signup or resolve a delivery issue (“Internal Contact Purposes”).

We do not use your mobile number to send marketing or promotional messages by text or phone call. If this ever changes, we’ll only do so with your prior, separate, and express consent, in line with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (New Zealand) and equivalent laws in your country.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe mechanism, and you may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications from us at any time. Joining The Inner Veil is optional and has no effect on your ability to read Site content or buy the book.

6. The free chapter & Dress Clarity Worksheet

When you join The Inner Veil, we’ll email you Chapter One of Find Your Dress Without Losing Yourself and the Dress Clarity Worksheet, at no charge.

These materials are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, republish, or distribute them without our written permission. They remain the copyright of BridalMe and the authors, Grant and Matisse Jennings.

7. Journal content & statistics

Content published in the BridalMe Journal is general educational and editorial material about bridal style, body shape, and the dress-selection process, reflecting BridalMe’s own views and the CLARITY Method framework.

Journal content is not personalised styling, medical, psychological, or professional advice, and reading it does not create an advisory or professional relationship between you and BridalMe.

References to body shape are descriptive, not evaluative — every shape and every silhouette named on the Site is presented as equally valid, and nothing here should be read as commentary on health, weight, or body size.

Where the Site refers to bridal-industry figures not drawn from BridalMe’s own product data, we take reasonable steps to source them properly, consistent with the Fair Trading Act 1986. No quantified bridal-industry statistic currently appears on the Site; where such a figure is used in future, it will be matched to a specific, dated source.

8. The book & purchases through Amazon

Find Your Dress Without Losing Yourself (USD $19.95, paperback) is sold by Amazon, not by BridalMe. When you click through to Amazon, you leave the Site and your purchase is governed entirely by Amazon’s own conditions of sale, pricing, shipping, tax, and returns policies.

BridalMe does not process payment for, ship, or fulfil book orders, and has no ability to change Amazon’s price, stock availability, or delivery timelines. Joining The Inner Veil through the book page is free and separate from buying the book.

9. Intellectual property

All text, images, the BridalMe name, the circular bride emblem, “Your Moment. Beautiful You.,” the CLARITY Method, and other Site content are owned by BridalMe or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view and share Site pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, or use Site content commercially without our written permission.

10. No professional, medical, or health advice

Nothing on the Site is medical, psychological, or health advice, and BridalMe does not make weight-loss or body-change claims. Any fit or alteration claims describe a typical improvement, not a guarantee for any individual body or gown.

11. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information, including the Inner Veil registration details described in clause 5, in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. It may be shared with service providers who help us run the Site and send communications on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations. You can request access, correction, or ask us to stop contacting you, any time, at support@bridalme.io.

12. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of the Site or its content, except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other enactment that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement. If you're accessing the Site from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, or Singapore, you may have additional protections under your own country’s law (for example, the Australian Consumer Law) that operate alongside these Terms.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 12, BridalMe excludes all liability for indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site.

As the Site does not currently sell anything directly — The Inner Veil is free and the book is sold by Amazon — BridalMe’s direct liability arising from your use of the Site is, in any event, expected to be nominal. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that can’t lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify BridalMe against any loss, damage, or cost we incur as a result of your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or breach.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You and BridalMe submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand, without prejudice to any consumer protection you're entitled to under the mandatory laws of your own country that can’t be excluded by agreement.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as BridalMe develops — particularly as Phase 1 consultations and Phase 2 made-to-measure gowns go live. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and BridalMe about the Site. No waiver: our failure to enforce any provision isn’t a waiver of it. Assignment: we may transfer our rights under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights without our consent.
