1. About these Terms

These Terms govern participation in the BridalMe Recent Bride Review Panel and, if separately invited and accepted, the BridalMe Bride Ambassador Programme operated by BridalMe Limited, a New Zealand company ("BridalMe", "we", "us" or "our").

The Review Panel and the Bride Ambassador Programme are separate stages. Joining the Review Panel does not require you to become an ambassador, promote BridalMe, or say anything positive about BridalMe.

These Terms are designed for individual recent-bride participants. Professional creators, agencies, commercial affiliates or strategic partners may be required to accept separate or additional terms.

2. Definitions

Term Meaning
Ambassador a participant separately accepted into the Bride Ambassador Programme.
Attribution the recording in BridalMe systems of a valid Ambassador referral against a prospective customer.
Business Day a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or New Zealand public holiday.
Customer a person who uses or purchases BridalMe.
Programme the Review Panel and/or Bride Ambassador Programme, as the context requires.
Qualifying Referral a referral satisfying clause 11.
Referral Code the unique code issued by BridalMe to an Ambassador.
Referral Link the unique link issued by BridalMe, ordinarily in the form https://bridalme.io/r/[CODE].
Review Panel the BridalMe Recent Bride Review Panel.
Territory the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Singapore, unless BridalMe adds another country in writing.

3. Eligibility and Territory

  1. You must be at least 18 years old.
  2. For the Review Panel, you must have personally participated in choosing your wedding dress and ordinarily have been married within approximately the previous 24 months, unless BridalMe approves otherwise.
  3. You must ordinarily reside in, and provide accurate information about your tax residence in, a Territory country.
  4. You must provide accurate application, payment and programme information and promptly notify BridalMe if your country of residence or tax residence changes.
  5. If you become resident in New Zealand or another country outside the Territory, BridalMe may pause new referrals or payments while it confirms the applicable tax, legal and payment requirements.

BridalMe may accept or decline an application acting reasonably and is not required to offer every Review Panel participant a place in the Bride Ambassador Programme.

4. The Recent Bride Review Panel

The Review Panel exists to help BridalMe understand whether its service would have been useful to women who have recently completed the wedding-dress journey.

  • Selected participants may receive complimentary access to BridalMe for evaluation purposes.
  • Complimentary access is provided to enable genuine product research, not in return for a positive review or endorsement.
  • You are free to provide positive, neutral or negative feedback.
  • You are not required to post about BridalMe, recommend BridalMe, or become an Ambassador.
  • There is no fee to join the Review Panel and no purchase is required.

5. Feedback, research and testimonials

We ask that your feedback reflect your genuine experience of BridalMe and your honest recollection of your wedding-dress journey. BridalMe may use non-public feedback internally for product development, research, analytics, service design and business planning.

BridalMe will not use your name, image, video, voice or an identifiable quotation in public advertising or paid promotional material without separate permission.

If you voluntarily publish content about BridalMe after receiving complimentary access, you must clearly disclose that BridalMe provided complimentary access, even if you have not yet become an Ambassador. Complimentary access is a material connection that audiences should be able to understand.

6. No purchase requirement; no multi-level rewards

Important structure You do not have to buy BridalMe, pay any joining fee, subscribe to any service, or recruit another ambassador in order to join or earn referral commission.

Commission is available only for direct Qualifying Referrals of new paying BridalMe customers. BridalMe does not pay commission for recruiting another Ambassador, for referrals made by people you recruit, or for building a downline or network.

Any complimentary access provided for Review Panel participation is not sold to you and is not provided as an inducement for you to buy goods or services in return for future referral benefits.

7. Optional Bride Ambassador Programme

After you complete the BridalMe experience, BridalMe may invite you to become a Bride Ambassador. Participation is optional.

You should only recommend BridalMe if, based on your own experience, you genuinely believe it may be useful to another bride.

8. Independent status

An Ambassador participates as an independent referrer and not as an employee, worker, agent, partner, franchisee or authorised representative of BridalMe.

  • There are no minimum hours, sales quotas or required posting frequency unless separately agreed in writing.
  • Participation is non-exclusive.
  • You decide whether, when and how to promote BridalMe, subject to these Terms, applicable law and platform rules.
  • You have no authority to enter contracts, incur liabilities, make guarantees or make commitments on BridalMe's behalf.

This clause does not override any status that applicable law requires based on the actual relationship between the parties.

9. Referral Link and Referral Code

If accepted as an Ambassador, BridalMe will issue you a unique Referral Code and/or Referral Link. A typical Referral Link is:

https://bridalme.io/r/YOURCODE

  • Your Referral Code is linked to your Ambassador account and may not be sold, transferred or assigned.
  • You must not create look-alike links, domains or redirects that could mislead a person into believing they are operated by BridalMe.
  • You may use only BridalMe-approved brand assets and may not materially alter them without permission.

10. Referral attribution

BridalMe currently uses the following attribution rules:

  1. A valid Referral Link or Referral Code must be recorded against the prospective customer before that customer completes her first paid BridalMe consultation.
  2. Once a valid Ambassador attribution is recorded, the first valid attribution is ordinarily locked and later Ambassador codes do not replace it.
  3. Attribution remains valid for 90 days from the time it is first recorded, unless these Terms state otherwise.
  4. One customer may generate commission for only one Ambassador for her first paid consultation.
  5. No referral claim may normally be added after purchase. If there is clear evidence of a BridalMe technical error, BridalMe may manually correct attribution acting reasonably.

BridalMe system records will be the primary evidence of attribution, subject to correction for manifest or demonstrated technical error.

11. Qualifying Referral

A Qualifying Referral occurs only where all of the following requirements are met:

  • the referred person is a new BridalMe paying customer for commission purposes and has not previously completed a paid BridalMe consultation;
  • the customer is validly attributed to you before her first paid consultation purchase;
  • the customer completes and successfully pays for her first BridalMe consultation;
  • the transaction is genuine and is not a self-referral, duplicate, fraudulent transaction or prohibited arrangement;
  • the purchase is not refunded, cancelled or charged back during the 30-day qualification period;
  • you have complied with these Terms in relation to the referral; and
  • no other exclusion in these Terms applies.

12. BridalMe customer journey and the 48-hour offer

The Ambassador referral system is separate from BridalMe's existing customer promotional flow.

Under the current flow, an eligible new user may request the free BridalMe chapter. BridalMe captures the user's email address and initiates delivery of the chapter. The existing 48-hour promotional timer then starts. If the user purchases during that 48-hour window, the standard US$95 consultation may be offered for US$75.

Referral rule Your Referral Code or Referral Link does not itself start, restart, pause, extend or otherwise change the 48-hour promotional timer. A qualifying US$75 promotional purchase earns the same standard US$15 commission as a qualifying US$95 purchase.

The US$95 and US$75 amounts are current programme reference prices. Actual customer pricing may be displayed or charged in local currency and may reflect platform pricing, taxes or other lawful adjustments. BridalMe may change or withdraw customer promotions independently of the Ambassador Programme.

13. Commission

The standard Bride Ambassador commission is US$15 for each Qualifying Referral.

Professional creators, agencies, commercial affiliates or special campaigns may operate under a different rate only where BridalMe separately confirms that rate in writing or in the relevant programme dashboard.

14. Pending, payable and reversed commission

  • After a qualifying purchase is received, the commission is recorded as PENDING.
  • The standard qualification period is 30 days from the purchase date.
  • If the purchase remains valid at the end of the qualification period, the commission becomes PAYABLE.
  • If the purchase is refunded, cancelled, charged back, fraudulent or otherwise invalid before qualification, the commission may be REVERSED.

If a commission has already been paid and the underlying transaction is later reversed, BridalMe may deduct the overpayment from future commissions. If the issue resulted from fraud, self-referral, manipulation or manifest payment error, BridalMe may also require repayment of the overpaid amount.

15. Payments

Commissions are calculated in US dollars.

  • BridalMe ordinarily processes monthly payouts when your PAYABLE balance reaches US$30.
  • BridalMe ordinarily processes the relevant payout batch within 15 Business Days after the end of the month in which the threshold is met.
  • If your valid balance remains below US$30, BridalMe ordinarily includes that balance in the payout batch after the end of the relevant calendar quarter, subject to payment-provider minimums or restrictions.
  • Payment may be made in the local-currency equivalent using the payment provider's execution rate at the time of payout.
  • BridalMe may use a regulated third-party payment provider and may require reasonable beneficiary, identity, tax-residence or payment information before paying you.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your payout details are accurate. BridalMe may pause a payout where account details cannot reasonably be verified.

16. Taxes and withholding

Commission is stated as a gross amount unless BridalMe is legally required to deduct or withhold tax or another amount.

You are responsible for determining, declaring and paying any income tax, GST, VAT, social-security contribution or other tax applying to your referral income in your jurisdiction.

BridalMe may request information or forms reasonably required to determine or comply with tax, payment or reporting obligations. If the law requires BridalMe to withhold an amount, BridalMe may deduct and remit that amount and will provide available supporting information where appropriate.

17. Statements and commission queries

BridalMe may provide an Ambassador dashboard and/or commission statement showing referral and payment status. You should raise any genuine commission query within 60 days after the relevant statement or payout date so that records can be investigated promptly.

A failure to raise a query within 60 days does not remove any right that applicable law does not permit you to waive.

18. Permitted promotion

Subject to these Terms, you may:

  • share your genuine experience of BridalMe;
  • publish your Referral Link or Referral Code on your own social-media channels;
  • respond to someone who asks you about BridalMe;
  • recommend BridalMe directly to a person who has asked for, or expressly agreed to receive, the recommendation; and
  • create genuine content about your BridalMe experience.

19. Electronic marketing, spam and direct messages

BridalMe global rule Do not send unsolicited commercial emails, texts, WhatsApp messages, private social-media messages, automated DMs or similar direct electronic promotions for BridalMe. Public organic posts are permitted, subject to the disclosure rules below.

You must not:

  • scrape, harvest, buy or compile email addresses, telephone numbers, social handles or other contact data for BridalMe promotion;
  • use bots, automated messaging tools or bulk-DM tools;
  • send a promotional message merely to ask the recipient to consent to further BridalMe marketing where that initial message itself would be unsolicited commercial marketing;
  • ignore a recipient's request not to be contacted; or
  • ask BridalMe to provide you with customer or prospect personal information for marketing.

If applicable law permits a category of communication that is more permissive than this clause, this BridalMe rule still applies unless BridalMe expressly approves an exception in writing.

20. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Whenever you publish or communicate promotional content about BridalMe and you have received complimentary access, can earn commission, or have another material connection with BridalMe, the connection must be disclosed clearly and prominently.

For Bride Ambassador content, BridalMe recommends the following minimum disclosure:

Recommended disclosure Ad / BridalMe Ambassador – I may earn a US$15 referral commission if you purchase through my link.

  • The disclosure must appear with the endorsement, not only in your profile, bio, terms page or behind a link.
  • For video, make the disclosure visible in the video itself and, where appropriate, also in the caption or description.
  • For audio-only content, make the disclosure audibly.
  • For stories or disappearing content, place the disclosure on-screen clearly enough to be noticed and read.
  • Do not rely only on the word "ambassador", a Referral Code, a brand tag or an ambiguous abbreviation.
  • Use any platform "paid partnership" or branded-content tool where required, in addition to a clear disclosure where necessary.

21. Honest endorsements and claims

Anything you say about BridalMe must be truthful, based on your genuine experience, and not misleading.

You must not:

  • claim to have used a feature you have not used;
  • describe BridalMe positively if that does not reflect your genuine opinion;
  • make factual performance claims that you cannot substantiate or that BridalMe has not approved;
  • guarantee a particular dress, appearance, fit, body-shape result, financial saving or other outcome;
  • misstate BridalMe pricing, the 48-hour offer, commission, availability or programme terms;
  • create or procure fake reviews, testimonials, likes, followers or engagement; or
  • present sponsored or commission-linked content as independent editorial content.

22. Monitoring and correction

Because BridalMe may have legal responsibilities for marketing carried out on its behalf, BridalMe may reasonably monitor public programme content and may ask you to provide a link or screenshot of relevant content.

If BridalMe reasonably believes content is misleading, non-compliant, unsafe or inconsistent with these Terms, you must promptly correct or remove it. BridalMe will not require you to change a genuine negative opinion merely because it is negative.

23. Brand, intellectual property and paid advertising

BridalMe and its licensors retain all rights in the BridalMe name, logos, app, website, content, software and brand assets.

Unless BridalMe gives written permission, you must not:

  • purchase paid search, social or app-store advertising using BridalMe trademarks or brand terms;
  • bid on "BridalMe" or confusingly similar terms in paid search;
  • register or use a domain, app name, social handle or account name that impersonates or is confusingly similar to BridalMe;
  • alter BridalMe logos or approved assets in a way that misrepresents the brand;
  • publish coupon or discount pages using BridalMe marks without written permission; or
  • suggest that your channel or account is an official BridalMe channel.

If you voluntarily tag or mention BridalMe in public social content, BridalMe may use ordinary native platform functions such as liking, commenting on, or resharing that public post within the same platform where permitted. Any separate paid-advertising use of your identifiable content requires separate permission.

24. Prohibited referral activity and fraud

You must not:

  • refer yourself or create a customer account primarily to generate your own commission;
  • create or procure fake, duplicate or misleading customer accounts;
  • manipulate attribution, cookies, device identifiers, links, codes or tracking;
  • offer an unauthorised rebate, cash-back or incentive from your commission to induce a purchase;
  • publish your code on coupon, voucher or discount-code websites without BridalMe's written approval;
  • use stolen, false or unauthorised payment information;
  • encourage refunds, chargebacks or artificial transactions after earning commission;
  • impersonate BridalMe or another Ambassador; or
  • engage in conduct designed primarily to generate commission without genuine customer acquisition.

25. Investigation, suspension and reversals

BridalMe may place commissions on hold while it reasonably investigates suspected fraud, attribution manipulation, prohibited marketing, payment irregularity or a material breach of these Terms.

Where BridalMe concludes on reasonable grounds that a referral is invalid or a material breach occurred, it may reverse the affected commission, suspend the account or terminate participation. BridalMe will maintain an internal record of material manual adjustments.

26. Customer privacy

An Ambassador has no right to receive a referred customer's private BridalMe data. BridalMe will not provide you with a customer's scan, measurements, body-shape information, dress recommendations, email address, payment details or other private account information merely because you referred that customer.

Your dashboard may show referral and commission status using identifiers or aggregated information that does not unnecessarily identify the customer.

27. Your personal information

BridalMe may process your personal information to administer the Programme, communicate with you, verify eligibility, attribute referrals, prevent fraud, make payments, maintain accounting and tax records, comply with law and operate related business systems.

BridalMe may disclose information reasonably required for those purposes to service providers such as payment, cloud, analytics, accounting or support providers, including providers located outside New Zealand. BridalMe will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law, including applicable cross-border requirements.

General BridalMe marketing communications are separate from Programme administration. Where consent is required for general marketing, BridalMe will seek it separately rather than treating acceptance of these Terms as blanket marketing consent.

28. Confidential information

If BridalMe gives you access to information clearly identified as confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential, including unreleased product features or non-public commercial information, you must not disclose it without permission unless disclosure is required by law.

This clause does not prevent you from giving honest feedback to BridalMe, reporting unlawful conduct to an authority, or making any disclosure protected by applicable law.

29. Changes to the Programme or these Terms

BridalMe may change future programme features, commission rates, eligibility criteria, payment processes or these Terms.

  • Material changes will ordinarily be notified through the programme dashboard, email or another reasonable channel before they take effect.
  • A change to commission rate will apply prospectively from its stated effective date and will not reduce commission already earned and recorded as PENDING, PAYABLE or PAID before that date.
  • BridalMe may make an immediate change where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, a legal requirement, payment-provider requirement or obvious system error.
  • If you do not accept a material future change, you may stop participating before it takes effect.

30. Suspension and termination

You may stop participating at any time by notifying BridalMe or using any available account control.

BridalMe may suspend or terminate participation where:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • fraudulent, misleading or unlawful activity is reasonably suspected;
  • continued participation creates material legal, payment, security, platform or reputational risk;
  • you cease to meet eligibility requirements; or
  • BridalMe discontinues the Programme or the relevant Territory.

Where termination is not for fraud or material breach, a referral validly attributed before termination may continue to qualify during the remainder of its existing 90-day attribution period. Where termination is for fraud or material breach, BridalMe may invalidate affected referrals to the extent reasonably connected with the breach.

31. Programme availability and tracking errors

BridalMe does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Programme, dashboard, Referral Links or tracking systems. If you reasonably believe a genuine Qualifying Referral was not tracked because of a BridalMe system error, you may provide available evidence and BridalMe will review the claim acting reasonably.

32. Responsibility and mandatory rights

Each party is responsible for its own acts and omissions. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, remedy, guarantee or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, restricted or modified.

To the extent permitted by law, BridalMe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from participation in the Programme, including loss of anticipated future commission that has not become PAYABLE.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or another liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

33. Electronic acceptance and records

You may accept these Terms electronically. Your acceptance, the version accepted, date and time of acceptance, and associated account record may be retained electronically as evidence of the agreement.

By selecting the acceptance control, you confirm that you intend to be bound by these Terms.

34. Notices and communications

BridalMe may send Programme notices to the email address or programme account you provide. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current.

You may contact BridalMe using the support/contact channel identified in the Programme portal or on bridalme.io.

35. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim (including any non-contractual dispute or claim) arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties should first try in good faith to resolve a dispute through the BridalMe support channel.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand in respect of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, their subject matter or formation. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any mandatory statutory right or mandatory jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.

36. General

  • These Terms, together with any programme-specific settings expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement governing your participation in the Programme. They do not replace the BridalMe Privacy Policy or any separate customer terms applying when you use the BridalMe service.
  • If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is to be read down to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
  • A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of that right.
  • You may not assign or transfer your Ambassador account or rights under these Terms without BridalMe's written consent.
  • BridalMe may transfer these Terms as part of a genuine corporate restructuring, sale or transfer of the BridalMe business, provided this does not remove accrued payment obligations.

37. Acceptance

By selecting "I accept the BridalMe Programme Terms", you confirm that:

  • you have read and understood these Terms;
  • you meet the applicable eligibility requirements;
  • the information you provide is accurate;
  • your feedback and endorsements will reflect your genuine experience;
  • you will comply with the disclosure, anti-spam and referral rules if you become an Ambassador; and
  • you understand that no purchase, joining fee or recruitment of other ambassadors is required to participate or earn commission.

Schedule 1 – BridalMe Marketing Compliance Rules

These minimum rules apply in addition to local law and platform rules. If local law is stricter, the stricter requirement applies.

Market Key concern BridalMe minimum rule
United States Material connection / endorsement disclosure Disclose complimentary access and/or commission clearly with each endorsement. Keep the disclosure hard to miss and in the same medium as the endorsement where appropriate.
United Kingdom Affiliate content and direct electronic marketing Treat commission-linked content as advertising. Do not send unsolicited promotional email, text or private social messages under the Programme.
Australia Consent for commercial electronic messages No unsolicited promotional direct messages. Do not assume a published address equals consent. Public organic posts are permitted with clear commercial disclosure.
Canada CASL and material-connection disclosure No unsolicited promotional electronic messages under the Programme. Clearly disclose free access and/or commission; a code or affiliate link alone is not enough.
Singapore DNC / spam controls and sponsored-content disclosure No unsolicited promotional direct messages under the Programme. Use clear disclosure of the commercial relationship in social content and comply with platform and local DNC/spam requirements.
